Description

Manually-steered mains-operated floor scrubber with brush rollers for basic cleaning, maintenance cleaning and polishing surfaces with up to 2120 sq.m/h.

The newly developed BR/BD 530 /XL /BAT /Package scrubber-drier for small to medium-sized floor areas is available in a choice of 12 versions, i.e. battery or mains powered, with either disc or roller brushes, with or without battery charger, in working widths of 46 and 53 cm. The very rugged and competitively priced unit comes with a number of innovative design features which offer the operator real benefits in handling and convenience.

For example, the self-supporting chassis, fresh water and dirty water tank as well as the mounting for the fan motor and batteries are a single polyethylene component produced in a rotational moulding process. Apart from saving space – the fresh water tank is integrated in the housing wall – this construction uses fewer parts and is therefore more reliable.

An unusual technical solution was found for raising and lowering the brush head and suction beam. The unit is tilted back slightly to relieve the load on the brushes. After the work break, the unit is simply pushed forwards and this causes the brush head to be lowered to the floor. Suction beam is available in straight and curved versions.

Thanks to a built-in charger, the batteries (with exhaustive discharge protection) can be recharged anywhere. It is only necessary to connect the machine to a normal power outlet. The batteries switch over automatically to the charge mode. The control panel has been greatly simplified. It contains only the suction fan and brush motor switches and the battery condition indicator. This almost excludes the risk of operator errors.
